Consider getting a dishwasher, if funds permit. One person with M.E. finds a hand-held sewing machine useful. Long-life energy-efficient bulbs need replacing less frequently. If you are thinking of moving house, look at bungalows, ground floor flats and houses with a downstairs toilet, which could enable you to live downstairs most, or all of the time. When decorating it is worth bearing in mind that busy wallpaper will be more stimulating (see Over-Stimulation).
